WP Version 3.9.2 Current Version EE3 and Calendar Add-On
My client would like to have more control over data entry on the event registration form. For example, can the zip code field be limited to 5 numbers, can the phone number and email field only accept data entered in phone number and email format? Right now you can enter anything in any field and the form will accept it. It does not appear that the system questions are editable in the form builder. If this is not an option in EE3 will it be an option in EE4?

Hi,
That isn’t available due to different formatting between countries.
For example, in the USA the first part of the zip code is five numbers but in Canada, the zip code (postal code) is a mix of numbers and letters.
This can be done but will need some custom coding for the validation. Please check with a developer here:
