License Key accidentally on Development Site

I’m the event organizer for our organization, not the website person. We are completely redoing our website, and I accidentally entered our license key on my Event Espresso General Settings page on our development site. We haven’t moved it to live yet.
Problem is it seems like EE is not updating my changes (I’m only working on the dev site). That is, if I change or delete something on the event or tickets, when I go to View (still in draft mode), it’s still all the old info.

I didn’t know the key wasn’t supposed to be entered on a dev. site so I entered & tried updating to fix it. Now I think I broke something instead. (I am the admin not the technical person!) So do I need to have the key reset, or is it going to be fixed when we go live?
Thanks!

Hi,

How are you today?

I’ve reset your license key. Please remove your license key from the General Settings page of Event Espresso and save the form blank without a license key. Then re-enter your license key again which should enable the new domain and/or one-click upgrades. Let me know if I can do anything else for you.

Regarding your data not changing… please check with your developer or web host about the type of caching you have on your server or in the code. That can prohibit things from looking updated.
