Hello,

I’ve bought the business licence and I want to install it on my domain. I have multisite wordpress and it’s not possible to install event espresso on the http://www.walkberlin.com/de and http://www.walkberlin.com/fr although it is just one domain.
Here is the message: “You have the correct Site License Key for Event Espresso but your current membership access only allows for automatic upgrades on one domain. Please log into your account to manage your Site License Keys or purchase a support license now.”
This is a big problem for me, because I get bookings from german and from french people. That’s why I need Event Espresso for both folders. How can I solve this problem?
Thanks
Anne

Hi,

How are you today?

I’ve reset your license key. Please remove your license key from the General Settings page of Event Espresso and save the form blank without a license key. Then re-enter your license key again which should enable the new domain and/or one-click upgrades. Let me know if I can do anything else for you.

Hello Garth,
thx for message.
But the problem is not resolved.
I removed the key from DE and FR wordpress installation.
And i activated the key under walkberlin.com/
and then under walkberlin.com/de/.
Under the de-Installation get the message “You have the correct Site License Key for Event Espresso but your current membership access only allows for automatic upgrades on one domain. Please log into your account to manage your Site License Keys or purchase a support license now.”

My idea is u get an admin-account for my wordpress-installation and u can see the problem. i need a email-adresse from you.

Thanks Anne

Hi Anne,

Officially Event Espresso does not support Multi-site. Users have reported EE working correctly, when NOT network activated and few customization’s are needed.

Unfortunately the licensing system will always flag Multi-site installs currently. We are working on improving MS compatibility in future versions of Event Espresso.

In MS although using the same top level domain each install is treated independently from the other, so sub-folder/sub-domain installs are treated as separate domains.

Hi Anne,

It turns out that 1-click update functionality is the only thing that’s affected by the license key system. The Business license and Developer licenses work exactly the same it this regard. You can use Event Espresso on multi-site, but since the license key system does not work on multisite, you’ll need to manually update Event Espresso and its add-ons.
