Hey guys,
Just carrying on with this post:

I found that the ‘submit promo code’ button isn’t working, had to disable Optimise JavaScript Code altogether, but hitting some big page load times time (6-9sec).
There’s an option to exclude scripts from autoptomize. Are there any particular scripts relating to these EE buttons that could be excluded to resolve this? Or is it not that simple?

Hi Derek,
It’s likely not that simple because multiple scripts are involved. What you could do instead is uncheck the box next to “Aggregate JS-files?”, then click Save Changes and Empty Cache. This way, the scripts will be in their correct places and they’ll be minified so they’ll load faster.

Yeah, it works, but unfortunately still hitting speeds quite a bit higher than before (4-6sec vs <3 sec).

Hi Derek,
I hope you can understand that we do not provide support for the Autoptimize plugin. There are surely other ways to speed up a webpage that does not involve also breaking JavaScript dependencies. Here’s one guide that shows how:
