Javascript errors preventing users from registering for events

Since a recent update I’m getting Javascript errors in the frontend resulting in users being unable to register for any events.

The error is as follows:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot set properties of undefined (setting ‘eejs’)
at eejs-core.c1e0cebdd6b75e1f4751.dist.js?ver=c1e0cebdd6b75e1f47518e3fa423376e:1:7672
at eejs-core.c1e0cebdd6b75e1f4751.dist.js?ver=c1e0cebdd6b75e1f47518e3fa423376e:1:7675
(index):443 Uncaught ReferenceError: eejs is not defined
at (index):443:1

I also found an open issue on github.com:
https://github.com/eventespresso/event-espresso-core/issues/3772

It seems like other people are having the same issue and I can also confirm that to the best of my knowledge it’s not a conflict with our theme or any other plugins.

I’m writing to you in the hopes to lend relevance to the issue and speed up the resolvement.

Cheers,
Chris

Hi Chris,

We’ve not seen the above errors preventing registrations, can you add more details on what was happening?

The issue has a PR which fixes the issue but is currently failing our unit tests, once those have been fixed we’ll push an update to fix this.
