Hi there,

I’m wanting to upgrade from Version 3.1.36.2.P to the latest version 3.1.36.5.P but I have an error message that is preventing me from doing this.

The message I have is You have the correct Site License Key for Event Espresso but your current membership access only allows for automatic upgrades on one domain. Please log into your account to manage your Site License Keys or purchase a support license now.

I have only ever had this plug in running on the same website and I have checked it and it’s correct (vintagebridemag.com.au). I’ve double checked that the site licence key is correct. I found another thread where someone was told to cut the site licence key on wordpress, then save, then paste it and save and this hasnt worked.

Can you please help me to upgrade – this looks like it is a common problem and it’s a bit frustrating that I cant easily find a solution.

Hello,

I’ve just reset your Support License Key. In a few minutes, you’ll receive a confirmation to your email address on your Event Espresso account.

If you are using Event Espresso 3, please login to your WordPress admin and locate Event Espresso in the admin menu. Then click on General Settings. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and locate the area for Support License. Now copy the existing key. Then erase the existing key and click on Save Options. After the page refreshes, scroll back down to the Support License area and paste your key and click on Save Options.

These steps will refresh your Support License Key for Event Espresso.

I’ve done all of that and it’s still got that same error message – You have the correct Site License Key for Event Espresso but your current membership access only allows for automatic upgrades on one domain. Please log into your account to manage your Site License Keys or purchase a support license now.

Hi Melanie,

I have reset your license key once more, could retry those steps again please.

Event Espresso -> General Settings. Remove the key (cut), save the settings, replace the key (paste) – check for any white space before/after the key and remove before re-saving the options once more.

(To note, the above steps only work if performed after a key reset)

If the problem persists after this attempt we will issue you with a new license key.

Sorry -still not working!! grrr!

I’ve double checked there are absolutely no spaces before or after and it is a direct copy that I have also double checked.

Hi Melanie,

I’ve deactivated your old support license key and created a new one ending in 61.

Please try again:
