Is there a better way to do this?

I am setting up multiple Tickets for use in reserving a Hotel Room. The Registration Checkout page looks very repetitious and ugly, specifically the Details, Name and Description, Qty, Price, Total sections repeating over and over.

Is there a better way to do this?

Hi there,

There’s 8 different tickets there, so you could hide the additional information about the 7 other tickets and leave the first. However if you do that, the ticket buyer might conclude that their ticket selections didn’t get saved correctly on the previous page.

Is this the only way to accomplish using EE for a hotel room management?
(assuming that the end user will be able to customize the nights staying.)

Is it possible to remove all the H5 Details?

You can use CSS to hide the h5 details. With regards to using EE for hotel management, you’re probably aware that EE wasn’t designed for hotel room booking. What we can do though is look into combining all of the table rows into one table if there’s only one registration form for the transaction.

yes I have been able to remove the H5s with CSS and the table heads as well.

I understand that EE isn’t designed as a full blown Hotel room booking tool.

Is there a possibility that a 3rd party hotel plugin can be used with EE and only show one checkout page? Where would I find the appropriate hooks?

Looking into combining all of the table rows into one table (there can be only one user info) for the transaction will be a nice solution.

Oh, and we don’t need all the bells and whistles for Hotel room management just the ability to block off a few nights that correspond with the event.
We are selling tickets to events, and need to add Hotel rooms as well, but want to give the ability for the user to choose their nights.

I’m not aware of a third party hotel plugin that hooks into Event Espresso 4. The hooks in Event Espresso 4 are prefixed: AHEE_ for action hooks and FHEE_ for filter hooks. If you have some specific questions about developing an extension for Event Espresso, then I can direct you to ask those questions on Github:
