Is Auto Return Available for PayPal Sandbox

Hi,

I’m testing a new install using PayPal Sandbox, everything looks fine at a high level. One thing thought, after making a payment on PayPal Sandbox, user is not autmoaticaly redirected back to Event Espresso Thank You page. User has to manually selecting the URL on PayPal Thanks for Your Order page. Once user clicks on this URL, process continues and everything works fine.

Does anyone know if this is a limitation of PayPal Sandox (not being able to handle Auto returns) or is this something than needs to be configured on the plugin side?

Hi Jake,

Unless this has been changed recently you can go into the Sandbox’s account settings and turn on Auto Return. It works just like a live PayPal account:
