Hi there,

If you haven’t already done so, you can install the Application Passwords plugin:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/ee4-event-apps/#authentication

Then you can flow the mobile apps troubleshooting guide:

So I have followed those instructions to the best of my ability. It has not changed the reply on the iphone. I am hosted on an Apache server thru GoDaddy. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I really would like my instructors to be able to check in students.
A while back I had a support ticket on this. It was the same problem only a different message. Support stated that they were going to work on changing the authentication method so that we wouldn’t have this problem. Any progress on that? Thank you for your help and any further assistance would be greatly appreciated. – john

The Application Passwords plugin was the recent change, but some servers will not pass the Authorization header in order to allow the app to Authenticate.

Can you check with Godaddy support to see if the site is being served via a proxy? If that’s the case, maybe they can move the site to a server that’s not using the proxy.
