This installation of EE has been running ~3 months successfully.
We are trying to use the iPad app for check-in. We are not using the ticketing function nor do we need it. We simply want a portable, easy way to check people in for the day of the event once they give us their name.
The event has 285 attendees, but the the number of attendees is maxed out at 50. I’m not sure why. JSON plugin is installed. I can successfully login and view events. It’s that I simply cannot see more than the 50 limit of attendees it has.
This thread seems like it may have answers, but it’s blocked out because we are not purchasers of the “ticketing” option. However, the things we are using are free for those with individual licenses, so I’m not sure why it’s restricted.

Hi there,
The JSON API and the ticketing apps both have settings where you can change the limits. Here’s a link to the mobile app documentation:

One thing about the ticketing apps is the check-in feature does use some database tables that only get added to your system if the ticketing add-on gets activated. You may find that the check in feature will not work without ticketing installed.

Hi,
If the check in is failing then yes you will need the Ticketing add on. It can be purchased separately should you need it or as part of the Business licence.
