Hi. I am running my first event using the system and have 150 people approx attending and the ipad app only shows 50 attendees. Is there any way around that?
Thanks

I thought that limit only pertained to events. I am checking with the app developer.

Sorry for the delay in answering your question. Our app developer has had some unexpected family matters to attend to recently.

Listing all attendees on the iPad event view is HUGE for us. Any idea when that will be implemented?

We are working out a few bugs, it should be ready to be submitted to iTunes in the next week or so.

Did an update go out fixing this?

Yes. The JSON API has been updated and should be available in your account, under the pre-release section. You will need to update it manually. There is also an update coming to the iPad and iPhone apps, but that is currently waiting for approval at iTunes.

I downloaded the new version of the API and kept getting 500 Internal server errors. Error log points to PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /public_html/wp-content/object-cache.php on line 52. When testing API with http://domain/espresso-api/v1/events/public.pretty_json I received 500 internal server error.

Re-installed older version, however can still only see 50 attendees. I have a conference starting tomorrow with over 60 attendees. Would be nice to be able to use the app for check in.

Any progress on this?

I’m having issues with the new API as well. Receive the following error on my iPad: The operation couldn’t be completed. (Cocoa error 3840.). I have reverted back to the old API, which is working but has limited me to 50 attendees again.

Hi Byron,

I’m not seeing any errors like the one you’ve posted when I run the new API. Which version of Event Espresso and the add-ons are installed.

@Bryan Luff,

I’m not seeing any of these errors, can you start a new post in the pre-release forum and let us know what screen you were on where the errors appeared with the new version?

Running version 3.1.30.7.P with calendar, mail Chimp, Multi Event, Permissions, recurring events, social media and ticketing. Even trying the http://hostname.com/espresso-api/v1/events/public.pretty_json returns the 500 error with the new version installed.

Error log says:
[03-Apr-2013 00:29:37] PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /wp-content/object-cache.php on line 52

@Byron, what version of WordPress are you using? And are you using any other non-event-espresso plugins? I find it very odd that you’re getting a fatal error from a file that I haven’t ever seen: “object-cache.php” in wp-content folder… normally the only contents in that directory are folders (languages, plugins, themes, upgrade, uploads, and an index.php file).

Hey guys,

Was working our conference last week, so could not trouble shoot this.  Today, loaded new version of API again and all seems to be working fine.  No errors and all attendees showing on iPad app.

One other change, which may have caused the problem stated earlier, I upgraded to Event Espresso version 3.1.31.1 yesterday.

Anyway, all is fine now and I am satisfied that this is resolved.

Thanks for your responses.
