Hi,

I have three Event Managers and they have created their own events ..
When they login into web interface they are seeing their events only and it is correct.

But when they login to iPad app, they are seeing all the events ( ie events not created by them ) ..

How can I fix it ?

Thanks

theepan

Hi Theepan,

Currently, there aren’t restrictions on the apps. Everyone can see all events. This is something that we are aware of and have not added yet. It will be something that needs to be in an update, but I do not have an ETA for this feature right now.

mhhh…everyone can see is something we can live for some time .. but I think they can also change payment status … that is worrying..

Is there any user profile we can create, who can only check-in or check-out ?

I too will have multiple Event Managers once everything is set up. This is a feature I will like to see added also. Thanks.

Hi Theepan,

I need to double check on this, but I believe we added support in the Roles and Permissions Pro add-on to respect the user permission levels that are set up using that add-on.

Hi everyone,

This should be fixed with the latest update to the JSON API today.

The update should be available for download in your account or via the one-click-update within the plugin dashboard of your website.

What we were able to fix this time around was the fact that any logged in user could see events and attendee data.

Our developers will need to add support for keeping Event Managers tied to their own events within the API and iOS app. This cannot be done quickly and will take some time to implement and release in iTunes.
