Individual Recipient Email Pulling in All Recipients Questions / Answers

  1. I set up a custom group of questions, that are checked on for the Primary Recipient as well as Additional Recipients.
  2. I just did a test order, ordering two tickets with unique info for each recipient.
  3. The email that goes to each recipient included the questions / answers for ALL recipients on the order, NOT just that individual’s answers.

I’ve been trying to figure out the issue for the last three hours and can’t solve it, please help!

Actually it looks like anything I put in the Attendee List area pulls in the details from the entire multiple ticket order. HOWEVER, none of the other fields will allow me to put in the [QUESTION_LIST] short code (so it only pulls the answers for that individual Registrant).

Please help.

I need to get how to reproduce the duplicated custom question that appeared in your recipient. I have created a sample free Event and received the email with the custom question answered as expected in my email.

Could you please share your event URL and the steps followed to reproduce this problem?

It is only in the individual registrant emails that go out. If I put the [QUESTION_LIST] shortcode in the ATTENDEE_LIST content, the questions and answers will get duplicated if there are more than one registrant on the purchase (for example, if I bought 3 registrations, three sets of questions would show on each registrant email).

Unfortunately the [QUESTION_LIST] short code cannot be placed anywhere else inside of the email templates.

Hi there!

It seems you are using a custom em: ail template. I have created this sample event: https://demoee.org/joaoangeline/events/event-espresso-camp/ – I registered two attendees with the t-shirt sizes and received the following emails:

1. Email containing both attendee’s details: https://cln.sh/Dc10tk
2. Email containing just the additional attendee details: https://cln.sh/AGHZIx

Could you check if you are customizing something that might affect this?

I customized the base template, but the fields and areas I can edit are the same as the global template. I have not done anything different as far as the set up and where the short codes go. It’s okay for this one however, I’ve removed the Question List altogether on the Individual Recipient template.
