incomplete payment !

Hello, Thank you for your payment module, it is great!
With your module, I make the payment using paypal. I followed the instructions to configure the correct IPN ??with paypal. I make my transaction and everything works fine. Paypal accepts the payment. But after the payment, upon returning to my site, I am redirected to the “thank you” page and I was told that my payment is incomplete!

Hi Bruno,

Can you try this? After you land on the Thank You page and it says incomplete, if you wait approximately 30 seconds, then refresh the page, does the status change?

Hi Josh,
Thanks for the answer. It doesn’t work :
After i land on the Thank You page, the message is “on hold” and if i wait 30s, and after i refresh the page, the status become “incomplete”.
The paypal paiement is ok because I receive a confirmation email , but I don’t receive any message of eventespresso. πŸ™
Have you an over solution please ?

I tried everything in your link step by step , but it still does not work :(. The payment is still incomplete ! What can I do please ? πŸ™‚

Hi there Bruno,

Are you using any security/firewalls plugins such as Bad Behavior?

These can block the IPN message to your site and this would cause the incomplete message to appear.

Did you check the IPN error log in /wp-content/uploads/espresso/logs as well?

I’m not using a security/firewalls plugins.
I watched the ” ipn error log” file. I can not understand it. Is what I can send it to you by email ? πŸ™‚

Hi Bruno,

This is the error in all of the recent transaction log items:

Errors resulting from the execution of curl transfer: The requested URL returned error: 403[10/16/2014 9:58 AM] - FAIL: IPN Validation Failed

Can you start a support ticket with your host and pass this information on to them? A 403 status code generally occurs as a result of a misconfiguration on the server side. They may ask you to try it first with all other WP plugins deactivated just in case there’s a plugin in the mix that’s breaking things.
