The customers are getting error messages. But the transactions are being marked complete. They keep trying resulting in multiple charges. 3 – 5 charges on $230+ products! The transactions are supposed to be marked approved after the transaction is complete. This is not happening either! I have some REALLY pissed off customers right now! (This started on Jan 21 after I added a wp-members plugin). I need to have our event list behind a site registration requirement.

The approval looks like it happens first. But hey see an error code (5) instead and try again.

Can you try a different Membership plugin for WP?

Any suggestions?

If the problem started happening after installing the WP membership plugin, it will likely be resolved by using a different WP membership plugin. May I ask, what’s the name of the WP membership plugin you are using?

I meant do you have a suggestion for a member plugin that will eork? Sorry. I had wp-member. I deleted it

I’ve had success with using Restrict Content:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/restrict-content/

Removing the plugin didn’t resolve anything. Some registrants are getting error code 5 randomly and trying until they get an approval. But in the backend, there is and approval and the error code 5. They are only seeing the error.

Any thoughts on how to get back to my original functionality which all worked fine until the plugin??

I tested again and I got an error that said my transaction can’t be processed. Refresh screen and try again. SO I looked in Authorize.net and I have actually been charged…

It seem like if they refresh, it goes through to the congratulations screen and all is well. But the transaction unsuccessful or error code 5 pops up on every transaction.

Has anything else been changed either on your site or within the Authorize.net account since things stopped working?

I mentioned that we had added a WP-Members plugin. I have since uninstalled it and removed those files. Other than that, nothing was changed. Or in Authorize.net.

Can you check with your host to see if they’ve made any changes to the webserver on or around Jan 21st?
What can happen is an unrelated error from the theme or another plugin can interrupt the AJAX response that happens at checkout, and result in the transaction not finalizing.

You can ensure that no errors get displayed on a live site by making sure that WP_DEBUG is set to false in the wp_config.php file. Along with that, you can add
@ini_set( 'display_errors', 0 );
to the same file on the line after where it sets WP_DEBUG.

That seems to have worked…

OK Now: The error code s aren’t popping up, the transaction are being approved in Authorize.net, the tag is applied and fields are filled in in Infusionsoft BUT

The Invoice is showing a balance in Infusionsoft. Previously it was working fine and showing under AMT Paid. Now what?

Hi Terry,

It will really help to know if the balance in Infusionsoft is the full ticket amount or another figure. Especially if any promo code discounts or surcharges were applied to the ticket price.

Catherine Miale

January 26, 2016 at 4:44 pm

No promo codes. Full amount is under balance. $0 under paid. <— in Infusionsoft.

Transaction is complete. Registration is approved in EE4.

May I ask which version of the Infusionsoft add-on is active on the site at the moment?

Version 2.1.2.p

Hi there,

Can you update to EE4 Infusionsoft Integration v2.1.3.p? This version includes an update so it’s compatible with the current Infusionsoft API, which will allow for passing the payment amount to Infusionsoft.
