Hi,
I’m getting the following error at the top of the page, after completing the “CHECK” payment option on EE4. When I click to view the order confirmation, the following appears:

Warning: getimagesize() [function.getimagesize]: http:// wrapper is disabled in the server configuration by allow_url_fopen=0 in /data/11/0/88/11/740989/user/756782/htdocs/main/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/libraries/shortcodes/EE_Transaction_Shortcodes.lib.php on line 300

Warning: getimagesize(http://3dame.org/main/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/logo-WEB150.jpg) [function.getimagesize]: failed to open stream: no suitable wrapper could be found in /data/11/0/88/11/740989/user/756782/htdocs/main/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/libraries/shortcodes/EE_Transaction_Shortcodes.lib.php on line 300″

I’ve read several posts on this issue and I’ve tried a few things, but to no avail. I would like to try “allow_url_fopen” in the php.ini file. That seemed to have worked for a few people. I just need to know where this file should reside, and should it contain anything else other than this code?

Thanks

Hi DeLon, thanks for getting started on troubleshooting.

Some web hosts need to restart the web server before it will accept the changes to the php.ini file.

Could you follow up with your web host about this?

Thanks

Lorenzo

Thanks for responding Lorenzo,
But I was under the impression that I could create and upload the file. If so, what should it contain and where should it reside?

Hi, making changes via the php.ini varies from web host to web host.

It may be that your php.ini won’t activate until your web host has restarted the web server.

Have you had a chance to follow up with them about this?

Lorenzo
