HTML Styling – Payment notification email (in General Settings)

WordPress Version:
3.4.2
PHP Version:
5.2.17
MySQL Version:
5.1.68
Event Espresso Version:
3.1.28.4.P

An existing site that was working perfectly, stopped listing a payment method. I went into the payment settings and saw that no payment gateway was activated. Reactivated Auth.net and Check/Money Order, but they immediate revert back to being deactivated.

We did have a server reboot earlier today, but not sure if that is related. Any ideas?

Also, seeing the dreaded license message: You have the correct Site License Key for Event Espresso but your current membership access only allows for automatic upgrades on one domain. Please log into your account to manage your Site License Keys or purchase a support license now.

Greg,

Firstly, it is highly recommended that you upgrade to the latest of both versions WordPress and Event Espresso. We are currently at WP 3.5.1 and Event Espresso 3.1.30.7. We have have several issues fixed since the version you are on. It is likely that your issue has been addressed in an update.

I have reset your license key. Please remove the key from the field in your settings, save, then reenter the key and save again.

I received the notification that the license key was reset, and resaved the General Settings, but the error message is still there.

Hmmm. Not sure what happened there. I went ahead and removed the old key from your account and added a new one. Make sure you clear out the old one save the options, enter the new one, and save again.

Odd – still no luck with the license update.

Do you have any other ideas re: the payment settings not saving? It was working perfectly for many months and we haven’t touched it. We could certainly go down the upgrade path, however, I’m hesitant to start with that first.

It’s possible that authorize.net has changed their API since the version of Event Espresso you are using and therefore that version of the gateway doesn’t work anymore.

Turned out that we had to restart Apache and then we were back in business.

Still not able to get the license to update though. Do you mind resetting the key one more time, please?
