Hi
The html Receipt Template has a problem in that at the very top of the browser window (located on the grey background) there is a whole load of code as below:

Notice: getimagesize(): send of 34 bytes failed with errno=104 Connection reset by peer in /home/sites/qigong-southwest.co.uk/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-master/core/libraries/shortcodes/EE_Transaction_Shortcodes.lib.php on line 309 Notice: getimagesize(): send of 2 bytes failed with errno=32 Broken pipe in /home/sites/qigong-southwest.co.uk/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-master/core/libraries/shortcodes/EE_Transaction_Shortcodes.lib.php on line 309 Notice: getimagesize(): Read error! in /home/sites/qigong-southwest.co.uk/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-master/core/libraries/shortcodes/EE_Transaction_Shortcodes.lib.php on line 309

Do you have any idea what this means please and how to resolve this issue. We have not altered this template at all.

Thank you

Hi Brad,

Can you go to http://example.com/wp-admin/options.php (be sure to change the example to your actual website URL), and look for image_default_link_type.

Looking at the notices, this may be your URL:

http://qigong-southwest.co.uk/wp-admin/options.php

In the box next to that it should say “file” (without quotes). If your setting is empty, type in the word file and scroll to the bottom and save.

Also, you are on a up to date version of Event Espresso 4, right?

Hi
Thanks for this but it did not work. I entered the word file and saved but the issue still arose. However we are using Event Espresso – Payment Methods Pro (EE4.6+) (Version 1.0.0.dev.000) as we are working with multiple payment gateways for specific Events and were advised to use this version of EE.
We also have ‘active’ Event Espresso (Version 4.8.27.rc.003) so I am a bit confused BUT the Events are running very well so I am reluctant to disable or update any EE in case we do something wrong at this stage whilst we are taking bookings?

Hi
I have realised that we can disable the HTML receipt so I think for now we have resolved this issue thank you. But any advice about whether we need to update our install of EE or not would be appreciated.
Thank you

Hi Brad,

This looks more like an issue with the server setup rather then EE.

Can you check if you host has allow_url_fopen disabled?

If you download the PDF and open it up do you see any images or a box with an X where the image should be?
