How to Upgrade from Version 3 (Personal) to Version 3 (Business)

Good afternoon,

I have purchased the license to upgrade from V3 Personal to V3 Business, and I have a few questions before I begin the upgrade:

  1. Are these the correct instructions to do this upgrade? https://eventespresso.com/wiki/updating-event-espresso/ (It looks like the basic process is to deactivate the old plugin, and install the new one, right?)
  2. And it looks like when you move from V3 Personal to Business you do not have the “automatic update feature” — is that correct?
  3. Will all the events and registrations currently in the system remain after I upgrade? Or will I have to re-enter all that information?

Oops — one more question: will I need to re-install other plugins, such as the Event Espresso – Calendar, Event Espresso – Custom Template Display, Event Espresso – Social Media and Event Espresso API Plugin?

Hi Wendy,

No reinstallation will be necessary and there is no upgrade.

A business support license provides you with access to additional add-ons. These can be installed but are not required.
