How to temporary turn of one of the tickets for all my events

Hi!

I was wondering if there is a way to turn of the visibility/book ability from one of my tickets in the ticket selector for all my events.
The thing is, we offer 2 kinds of tickets for each event: clinic fee including accommodation and clinic fee excluding accommodation. At this moment our accommodation partner is totally overbooked. So i need to turn of the ticket including accommodation for a while, to make sure people only book excluding accommodation, as right now we do not have a spot for them to stay at.

I don’t want to delete the tickets per event as I have a LOT of events, deleting the tickets one by one takes a lot of time. And as this is temporary it would also mean that i would have to add them again one by one the moment we find a new accommodation partner again.

So there for my question, is there a way to temporary turn the tickets of for all my events?:)

(i am using EE4 and have the latest version of everything)

Cheers!

Hi there,

Each ticket is unique to each event, so theres no global option to disable a specific ticket across all events.

However if they all have the same ticket name you can hide them using CSS, would that work?

Hi Tony,

Thank you for your quick reply, hmm ok i will see if that is the case then.
Another question, do you guys have any add ons which make sure that every registration i get, gets implemented in my online administration software?
At this moment i need to add every registrant manually, which takes to much of time. The reason we choose for online payment is to have more time for other things, but now i’m still doing the same work as before we had online payment haha.

So do you have any add ons to implement every registration? Meaning if someone registrates, my online system will generate an invoice in the system automatically using the registration details?

cheers!

If you link me to a couple of your events and show which ticket you want to hide we may be able to provide the CSS for you.

WHich online administration software are you using?

We have the EE4 InfusionSoft add-on that adds your registrations to InfusionSoft, but it depends what you are working with.

That would be great thanks:) I will first check out of all my events use the same ticket name, if that is the case then i will send you some links, thanks! (just to be sure i don’t waste your time before checking if all the names are the same haha.

I am using Acumulus (SIEL system on google) which is a dutch system, they are open to develop a plugin to make the connection work, however they don’t know how EE4 works so that is where they got stuck.

They also use a csv template, which they told me, if is equal to a csv file i can get out of EE4 can be easily implemented in the system.

However i have no idea how these systems communicate. I do already use their plugin for woocommerce, but don’t know if i would be able to change that plugin so it works for EE4 as well as i don’t know what to change. (i’m a bit scared to try as well actually, simple php things i can manage but this is a bit over my head)

Cheers!

Integration’s such as the above are not something I would recommend attempting unless your very comfortable with PHP, you would not be able to modify the woocommerce plugin to work with EE without almost completely re-writing the plugin anyway (it would help show how to send data to Acumulus but not at all with pulling the data from EE itself).

I am using Acumulus (SIEL system on google) which is a dutch system, they are open to develop a plugin to make the connection work, however they don’t know how EE4 works so that is where they got stuck.

We couldn’t provide the level of details needed on the forums, however if Acumulus run into problems with the integration they can ask for help by opening up a discussion here.

I would recommend they look into the EE4 InfusionSoft Add-on for an example of how to hook into Event Espresso and pull in the information they need.

They also use a csv template, which they told me, if is equal to a csv file i can get out of EE4 can be easily implemented in the system.

The CSV output from EE can be modified but again it depends on what information they need as to how/what needs to be done.

In short any type of integration with Acumulus is going to take custom development, be that to output a CSV in a format you can use or a full integration plugin.

Ok sounds clear thanks, if they would like to look into the Infusionsoft add on, do they need to buy the add on? Or is there a page so they can see how it “hooks” into event espresso?

Do you maybe know how other companies do this? I can’t imagine other big companies manually implementing every registrant in there accounting system right?

You have access to the EE4 InfusionSoft Add-on within your account page so you can send them the add-on. To see how it hooks in they need to view the code rather than the add-on working within InfusionSoft.

I don’t know how other companies import the details into their account software.

Hi Tony,

Thanks for the info about infusionSoft! I will talk to my account system owners to see what we can do.

Regarding my original questions “hiding some tickets” i checked and all my tickets have the same name. (Clinic incl. accommodation) Could you maybe help me out with some css to hide them temporary?
This is a link to one of the events on the site: http://lanzarote.dinghycoach.com/index.php/events/optimist-lanzarote-summer-clinic-july/

Cheers!:)

Sure, this should remove them:

.tkt-slctr-tbl .ee-ticket-clinic-incl-accommodation {
    display: none;
}

We recommend using either the My Custom CSS or Reaktiv CSS Builder plugins to add custom styles such as these.
