Hi there,

Event Espresso does not store credit card details as doing so will drastically increase your PCI compliance level requirements and if your site was ever compromised the attacker would have access to all of those details, leaving you (not Event Espresso) liable for any damages from such a data breach.

In short, it simply isn’t worth the risk and is something we currently do not (and likely never will) support directly. Some payment method can offer the ability to save card details for future use by doing so on their servers and not yours which may be something we include in a future version.
