I want to move my licence from http://www.dpcicerink.com to pointvillageonice.ie. I paid for a licence reset earlier and I thought I would be able to change the web address then but it doesn’t seem to have worked – can you advise if this was the correct purchase /how I should go about making the change?

Hi Elaine,

You’ll receive a confirmation email shortly.

Follow the steps in that email to reactivate your support license key.

Thanks

Lorenzo

I followed the instructions but nothing seems to have changed – I’m still getting the error message on the website and it is still associated with the old website on my Event Espresso Account.

Hi Elaine,

When we reset your key it removes the link between the key and the current domain. If the key is still within the old site, once we reset the key, the site can ping our server and re-assign the key back to that domain. I can see from your account that is what happened here.

You will need to remove the license key from your old site and post here when that is done, I can then reset your license key once again.

Then when you save the settings within the new site, the key will be linked to the new domain.

It has been removed from the old site and is ready in the new site settings now – thank you

Your license key has been reset.

On the new site please go to Event Espresso -> General Settings.

Remove the license key (cut) and save the settings, replace the license key (paste) and save the settings once more.

Be sure to check for any white space before/after the key when pasting.

That should then re-link your license to your new domain and auto updates there.

That’s worked perfectly – thank you for your assistance
