How to get full confirmation details into a confirmation email

We are trying to get the full confirmation details, including ticket details, into the “payment received” email. We have tried everything, including copying the code we found in one of the emails. After registration, there is a large blue button that prints like an invoice, and we want that to show in their email. THank you!

Hi there,

The ‘Payment Recieved’ email is different from a ‘Confirmation Email’ as technically a registration can have multiple payments assigned to it before a registration is ‘confirmed’ (Approved within Event Espresso).

That email is triggered when a payment object is passed to EE that has it’s status changed to ‘Accepted’, the payment object itself is passed to the messenging system and the email is triggered using that.

So, may I ask why you are not using the ‘Registration Approved’ message type for this?
