how do I customize the default view?

I’d like to add a button for attendees and move the graphic.

Hi, please take a look at this article:

It has some information on getting templates setup for modification. This will ensure that your customizations are not lost on a software update.

What button are you trying to add?

A button labeled Attendees that when clicked will go to that events list of attendees instead of the entire list for all events.

Hi, Event Espresso 3 has an attendee list shortcode that can be used on single event pages:

Are you wanting to add a link/button to to that attendee list from the event listings page?
