I have been trying to edit several of the messages so the text is displayed neatly instead of all the text in a block without success.
Lets take part of the ticket html with editor in “text” mode we have
[VENUE_TITLE]
[VENUE_ADDRESS]
[VENUE_ADDRESS2]
[VENUE_CITY]
[VENUE_STATE]
[VENUE_PHONE]
I would normally expect each to be on a separate line, but that is not the case.
So I added <br /> at the end of each line and save. When you look back the <br /> has been removed. I tried the various other forms of <br>, <\ br> etc.. but same results.
So, I tried using <pre></pre> which gave better results in as much as I now have the line breaks, but of course it changes the font type and size.
Why does the editor remove standard HTML break tag of <BR> when trying to edit messages or events etc?

In my post above it appears that the forum does not like me adding PRE with angle brackets around it following by /PRE with angled brackets around it.

This button here is not for editing template, it is used to create custom template.

If you plan to modify template you already updated, go to your Events -> Notification section and click edit.

Your answer does NOT address my question..
You said “This button here is not for editing template” The button has the word “Edit” on it, so I am trying to do some editing.
I am in the notification section of the EVENT
When editing and add a br tag it is automatically removed!!
