How do I get the E mail links in the Event Overview to work?

I checked previous documentation on this and couldn’t find any that fit my case. My E mail links in the Event Overview go to a 404 error page. Need some help with this. Thank you so much!

Hi Kathryn,

Can you direct me to which email links are failing please?

It is the email all attendee’s under actions? http://d.pr/i/B2UI

It is the E mails in the body of the information about the workshops in the Event Overview. I don’t know how to make a clickable E mail link, I was using the same procedure for website links and apparently that isn’t the way to do it. Thanks.

In that case to make clickable email links, you assign them as mailto links.

Here is a tutorial which should guide you through

Okay, thank you, I am not code literate, so I will have to work with non-clickable E mail links. Thank you so much for your help!

You can create mailto links with the editor if you like.

From the editor http://d.pr/i/I8si

Type in the phrase you want people to click to email you and highlight it http://d.pr/i/puXV

Click the ‘link’ button and you’ll see http://d.pr/i/TK9f

Type mailto:tony@eventespresso.com for example.. http://d.pr/i/t5vD

Click add the link
