Hi Guys,
I was wondering if there was a way to hide expired events using code. I am using a slider (Meta Slider Pro) and a different calendar plugin (Blog Post Calendar Widget) that will populate the event post type. Since both of those don’t recognize my ‘don’t show expired events’ from my settings, I was wondering if I could put some code somewhere in EE to just not display them at all. Thank you for your help!

WordPress 3.8.3
EE 4.2.3.reg

Hi there,

First off, I highly recommend updating your WordPress installation. The latest version is 3.9.1. Several security and feature enhancements have been released since your version.

With EE3, you can use the shortcode [EVENT_LIST show_expired=false] to list events and exclude the expired. However, not all of the shortcodes have been migrated to EE4 yet, including this one. This will be something that will come in a future update.
