Hide Category title

The shortcode is showing up on the page, but it is showing the category. Each event in that category is named the same thing so it’s taking up a lot of space and very wordy. Can I choose NOT to show the category title? I understand it showing up once (maybe) but why does it have to show up for both classes. When we have 5 classes coming up that will look really bad. I have a “hide title” plugin on this site, but it does not go into the EE plugin.

Hi there,

Which shortcode are you referring to please?

Can you link me to a page so I can see what is happening?

http://www.breakthrough-performance.com/lean-six-sigma-and-leadership-courses/cincinnati-lean/

The page has “lean gold practitioner” on it so many times, it’s very redundant to have the category title and the course title coming from the EE Short Code.

Thank you for your help.

EE isn’t outputting the category title on that page, its listing 2 events and within the event details the datetime name is also set, so that’s displayed – http://take.ms/PCJp5

From the screenshot is it the red section you want to remove or the blue?

The red section, please.

Hmm ok, but that’s the event title, so it might be confusing for your users.

The easiest method to hiding that link is using CSS, to do that on that specific page you can use:

.page-id-1183 .espresso_events .event-header {
    display: none;
}

We recommend using either the My Custom CSS or Reaktiv CSS Builder plugins to add custom styles such as these.

However you currently have 2 events within EE that are almost identical and are not taking registrations on those, are you using them just for info?

There may be a better way to setup this up in Event Espresso, can you provide an overview of how wanting the event to work? We can provide some feedback based on that.
