We are having a problem with customers being able to confirm their registration. They fill out their info for our event on this page:

they hit submit and it takes them to the event registration confirmation page and they click on “Confirm Registration” but nothing happens and none of our customers can sign up for our classes.
Please advise how to remedy asap!
Also, when trying to update the event esspresso plugin and member plugin from wordpress it says “Update failed. Service Unavailable” but, the other ticketing and calendar plugins updated fine this way.

Hi Brandon,
It looks like the registration page content is getting loaded up via ajax (possibly by the theme?) which I’m afraid isn’t compatible with Event Espresso’s registration process. If there’s a way to disable the ajax loading of pages with the theme (or if not the theme, a plugin) then that should fix the issue.

Ok switched to a non ajax loading theme and now having issues even being able to see the event registration page. Unless there’s something on our end, it’s starting to seem like espresso is quite “finicky”. Please view homepage and then link to register event below:

Hi Brandon,
I don’t think it’s Event Espresso being “finicky”. The themes you are using is from ThemeForest. ThemeForest themes are known to cause issues and conflicts because alot of them are not coded to WordPress coding standards (see here for WP coding standards: http://make.wordpress.org/core/handbook/coding-standards/). Your theme is no exception.

You can show this link to your theme’s developer. What is says is that according to ThemeForest’s new terms, he is going to have to fix his theme to WP coding standards:

@brandon,
I checked and it looks like this is another theme that loads up the content with AJAX, which I’m afraid isn’t compatible. The majority of themes out there will work with Event Espresso, I’m sorry that you happened to end up with a few that aren’t compatible.
