I need HELP with the checkout page

Ah! Help!

I just tried to go through a test registration and when I try to proceed to registration or go to my cart or anything I get this https://www.artnookaiken.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/Screen-Shot-2016-02-03-at-5.15.18-PM.png

I have no clue what I did! And I need it to be working as my website views are just starting to ramp up! Please help! Fast!

Unless it was something having to do with update.

Looks like you can get back up and running by resaving that checkout page, then re-save the General Settings page if need be.

I can’t even find that checkout page on my pages. I tried re-saving the general settings page and that did not work. Ah! Help!

On that page in the screenshot you sent us, if you click (Edit), it will open up that page editor. Then you can follow the steps Josh outlined.

Ok. So I clicked (Edit) and then I clicked update. Then I went directly to EE–general settings and saved that. It did not work. Eeeek!

Hi there,

On the general settings > critical pages, page, it will have a setting for the registration checkout page. The page you’re having an issue with should be set there. If it is set there, you can try changing it to another page, save, then change it back.

If another page is set there, then you’ll change the setting back to the correct page.

If the above doesn’t help, someone from Event Espresso support staff can take a few minutes and make sure the settings are correct if you can fill out the form on this page:

I am super confused. When I am originally sent to the page the URL is https://www.artnookaiken.com/checkout/#checkout

Then when I hit (edit) the permalink says http://www.artnookaiken.com/checkout/

I am really confused as to what I am supposed to be doing. I filled out the form. Please go in and see what you can figure out. FAST!

Hey do you know which pages you happened to have deleted recently?

No. I was cleaning out my pages though. I must have deleted something that I needed. But I did not permanently delete anything to my knowledge.

Okay, that’s fine, and it’s working now. The next time you go through and delete pages, you can be sure to take care to not delete any pages that have the word Checkout in their title and you should be fine.

If this happens again though, the quick fix is set the Registration Checkout page to another page, save, make sure the Checkout page is published, then set it back to the correct page and save again.
