Grid View pulled into a Widget

I just purchased EE4 with the Grid View add-on… I’d like to use the Grid View layout in a widget (the theme I’m using allows for front page widgets, and I’d like this section to show upcoming events in the grid view layout). When I use the shortcode in the widget area, it just displays the shortcode text.

Hi Lauren,

Unless the theme has added support to allow shortcodes in a text widget, WordPress doesn’t allow them by default. However, you can enable shortcodes in text widgets by following the first section of this guide:
