Google Maps not working

Hi guys.
The Google Map is not showing up in the event page for some reason. It was working perfectly with EE3, not working with EE4.
It shows something like “for development purpose only”. The API key is there.
BUT! It works with the theme TwentyTwelve!
How can I fix it?

Hi Stefano,

This is not an issue between EE3 and EE4, or even your theme.

In short Google Maps is no longer free, they charge you based on the number of page visits you have and need to use an API Key to link your site to your account (you currently don’t have an API key set on the site).

If you go to Event Espresso -> Venues -> Google Maps

You’ll find a section to input your API key with a link to generate a key, click that, log into the google account you want the map to be linked to and generate a key, you then need to enable billing our your account for maps to function correctly.
