So I’m not sure why this is happening, but I am getting a 404 error when trying register for my event. I am using EE4-Decaf on the latest WordPress install.

Thanks for any help!

Hi,

Bumping your threads will usually have the opposite effect as posts are answered in order of the last reply date.

It looks like you have added the EE4 Critical Pages as children of a page called ‘events’

This output here http://digitalct.org/events/ is not actually a page (even if you have a page called events) it’s the EE archive of events.

So if you’ve created a page called events (which is basically ignored by WordPress) then added the critical pages (such as registration-checkout) as children of that page it will cause this problem.

So when you go here: http://digitalct.org/events/registration-checkout

Your basically telling WordPress to check for an EE event with the slug ‘registration-checkout’, which is why it doesn’t find anything.

If you remove those pages from being children of ‘events’ then flush your permalinks (Settings -> Permalinks -> Save) this should work as expected.

Ahhh, got it, thanks for the tip on the threads.

Getting rid of the parent page worked, thank you!
