Generic WordPress multisite

We are using EE3 and want to know if it is possible to set up a generic WP site (enabling multisite) and have individual events for multiple departments? My experience with enabling plugins with multisite is that the plugins are available to all sites. Then the question is having the funds go to the appropriate accounts.

While EE3 isn’t supported on Multisite, technically it sounds like what you want to do is possible. Each site will have its own payment settings.
