FirstData Gateway error after 3.1.30.7 upgrade

After we upgraded to 3.1.30.7, our first data gateway connection is not working. Receive a sgs 020006 error – contact merchant. First data checked PEM file and we downloaded a new one to verify correct file. Still receiving error. All first data payments end in incomplete status. Have tried troubleshooting found in forums and am at a dead end. Client has large trade show this weekend where they will be promoting online tickets – really need to get resolved. Any suggestions?

WP 3.5.1
EE 3.1.30.7
EE MER 1.0.4

Adding on – I read support instructions about First Data needing port 1129 open which it appears has been a consistent problem with GoDaddy – unfortunately the host this site is on. I checked and port 1129 was not responding on our server.

But, before the upgrade to 3.1.30.7 this was not an issue and we were successfully processing transactions through EE/FirstData on the GoDaddy host.

Did something change in the update files that would have caused it to quit working? If so, can I get previous EE files to remove the update so I can get the gateway functioning again to support their marketing efforts this weekend?

Thanks

Hi there,

The first thing I would check is the files in /wp-content/uploads/espresso/gateways. You can copy over the new first data files from /wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/gateways/firstdata, and then verify that the pem file is still there in /wp-content/uploads/espresso/gateways.

We can send you the previous version you were on, but we will need to know which version number you had installed previously.

Thanks Josh – but when I copied those files over I am now getting the following error
Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/content/52/4873952/html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/gateways/firstdata/init.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/php5/lib/php’) in /home/content/52/4873952/html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/includes/functions/main.php on line 1193

I am going to download the update again – forgot to save the previous file in that folder before I copied them over…. 🙁

Any other suggestions?

I downloaded the update files again and replaced the first data files. That didn’t help either – still getting an error. So I wanted to deactivate first data for a little while and now I am not getting the first data option in my payment settings menu? It was there earlier today but is now not appearing at all.
I hope there can be a solution other than full reinstall……

Can you send in wp-admin and ftp login credentials by filling out the form here? We should be able to restore firstdata to the payment settings page without to much trouble.
