We want to create an exhibition/event website the features are as follows:
Ticket-less event
online registration of users
Events –Current Event(s) – Ability to list and load file for more than one event on this page.
Other than the image the we should have the capability to type content
Past Events ( Ability to list past events, Add Pics, Videos, Testimonials)
By default all the events will move to past events section after the event date

Please confirm we can have all these features and which version we should buy.

Hi there Surojit, could you tell us more about this project requirement?

Ticket-less event

Will this be used for online events?

Hi Lorenzo,

the site deals with real estate and it organizes regular offline events for the prospective buyers. the site will be basically used to highlight the upcoming events where the buyers can register online (to confirm that they are coming).let me know if you need more info.

Hi Lorenzo,

the upcoming event needs to be displayed in the big banner in the home page with register button and on clicking the button the registration form will popup, upon filling it the user will get thank you message and the admin will get email intimation and the user info will be saved in db for that particular event.

Hi,

Yes, that sort of event can be created, but it will be labelled as Free. Details will be taken (registration form) and the admin and attendee will get appropriate emails.

Upcoming events: we have a widget for it, but it may not be big enough. If you wanted to show just one maybe two events at a time, you could use one of our event listing shortcodes and limit it to 1.

Have you tried EE4 yet? You can test drive the premium version for free over at http://demoee.org (free registration required).

If you have any other questions, please let us know.

I have logged into the demo but not sure how to display an event in the banner and how to display the register button without the ticket details. Can you please help.

Hi Surojit, with Event Espresso 4, the ticket selector will be required to collect registration details even if the event itself is free.

Note that it is possible to change the messaging from ticket within the ticket selector to something else.

For example, the wording for ticket could be changed to course or registration.

I have setup a test account and facing some problem with shortcode

http://demoee.org/propevents/past-events/
I have used [ESPRESSO_EVENTS show_expired=”true”]

out of 3 events, 2 are upcoming and 1 has expired but its showing all the events.
Can you please check.

Hi Surojit,

That shortcode means that active/upcoming events and prior events should be shown. Since you have 3 events, then they all would be shown.

Hi, that isn’t currently available as a shortcode option in Event Espresso.
