I would like to have event be seen as ‘featured’ if someone pays to show them above all other events. Do you support this or would it have to be custom code?

that would need to be custom coded. Are you looking at EE3 or EE4? It would not be that hard, just some mods to the event list to look for a meta tag on the event.

Thanks Sidney, two more quick ones:
1) Can it be set up to charge for user’s to submit events? Or would this have to be another plugin of some sorts
2) I would like to set up an email newsletter to my users but only feature the events that would be near the users zip code. Is there any automated way to do this or would it have to be more manual?

Hi Ed,
What you described sounds similar to an event marketplace. That could be done, however it would require some manual work for payments as payments cannot currently be split up amongst multiple event authors.
Targeting by zip or postal codes isn’t currently available.
