I have tried to upgrade my plugin, but keep getting this error message upon activation:
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Warning: require_once(includes/functions/main.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/blacon3/greensatx.org/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/espresso.php on line 271
I am uploading the files via FTP and have tried deleting all old versions, as well as deleting the newest files and uploading again, without any luck. Your help is much appreciated- need to get the events up ASAP for our organization’s website.

Hi there,
After you’ve uploaded the latest files, can you look in the wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/includes/functions/ folder and check to see if the main.php file is there? If it isn’t, you could try uploading a fresh copy of Event Espresso.
If the file is there, but you continue to get the error, please let us know and we can investigate further.
