Hi there,

Are you using a plugin (or some custom code) to disable updates on the site?

The error you are getting is happening because the ‘plugin_updates’ value is false rather than an array/object holding update info and should not be false.

Do you have FTP access/File Manager access?

I’ve been trying to find the FTP and I can’t.
I’m not sure where to look for it.

Your host will usually provide you with an FTP account when you create the account.

Do you have access to a Control Panel of any kind with your host?

Yes I found it through our host. I’m in cpanel now

Are you using FTP or File Manager?

You need to decatice the plugin causing the error so you can back into your site and then fix it from there.

So using FTP or the file File Manager available from within your hosts control panel, you need to go to /public_html/wp-content/plugins/

Find the event-espresso-decaf directory and change it to something else, just adding -temp to the end for example. That should disable Event Espresso 4 Decaf on your site.

Then try logging into your site, does it work then?

If you prefer for me to do the above I’m more than happy to, just send the credentials over using this from:

Also, may I ask why you are using decaf? You have a license so have access to the full version, decaf is more limited ‘free’ version of Event Espresso 4.
