Far too much description showing in calendar

Hi,

I have just switched from EE4 to EE3, and in EE4 there was a very nice thing which gave a sentence long blurb when you hovered over an event on the calendar. On EE3 hovering over the calendar produces the whole description, which is far too much description for the calendar. It is lovely, of course, to have the nice description on the event page, but I need something considerably shorter for the hover on the calendar. How do I do this?

You can add a read more tag to the event description where you want the part that’s shown in the calendar to end. If the editor is in the visual mode, you click the Add read more tag button to add the tag. If it’s in text mode, you click the button that says “more” to add the tag.
