I have read on this forum that turning ON fancy headers eliminated emails coming FROM EE to read at though it’s coming from my host.

for example my event confirmations come FROM : phillph@just96.jushost.com
when it should look like this: vendors@phillyphair.com

I have fancyheaders turned ON and still get this error.

please help

Hi Jennifer,

This is a very simple little WordPress plugin that you can install and it may help:

Thank for the quick response. I’ll try and give it go and post what happens

Unfortunately that plugin did work at all.

It successfully installed and tested it. I still received an email from phillph@just96.jushost.com

What else could be the culprit?

Hi Jennifer,

Are you seeing a similar issue with regular WordPress notifications such as password resets?

Hi Jennifer,

You might check with your host to see if they’re overriding the email headers that WordPress sends. If they are, another solution is to use a transactional email delivery service that integrates with WordPress, like Mandrill:

http://blog.mandrill.com/own-your-wordpress-email-with-mandrill.html

This will allow you to have more control over how your email is sent.
