Expresso_My_Events – Adding an extra column

Hello,
I wanted to know the best way to add a column to the espresso_my_events shortcode. It has to do with adding the categories of the event to the table. I’ve managed to create a custom template for single events, the archive and the taxonomy. Is it a similar procedure to this? (Placing the same file name in the theme directory).

Yes you copy the template that you want to modify into your WordPress theme.
