Every week I’ve been exporting attendee details to compile my weekly list of purchases for all future events but this week Aug 25 -31 the file has stopped after attendees purchasing on the 26th and the following line is on the spreadsheet
<b>Fatal error</b>: Call to undefined method DateTime::createFromFormat() in <b>*my hosting details (omitted here)*/oceanbeach.co.uk/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/includes/functions/export.php</b> on line <b>501</b><br />
The exports have been working error free since we purchased this. Is there a finite number to the attendee data exported? The inability to filter exported data between certain dates is frustrating in itself as I have to delete a lot of historical data each time, however, now it’s not exporting as before it’s concerning as this is a very crucial part of consolidating our Admin on all future attendees.

Hi Matt,
The DateTime::createFromFormat() method was introduced in PHP 5.3 +
It sounds like your server is running PHP 5.2 which doesn’t have the function and as such throws the a Fatal Error.
To confirm you can go to Event Espresso -> System Status. Look for ‘PHP version’. Is it currently set to 5.2.xx?

Hi Tony it is – PHP 5.2.17
I guess this must be really new as it exported last week without the error. So the next step is to try and get my hosts to upgrade PHP?

Actually updating PHP was easier than I expected as I could initiate it myself and the file downloads as expected now. Many thanks for your help.
