Hi Team!!,

I need a help. I want to export and import all the details showing in the registrations list in the Event expresso. But i don’t know how can i export and import from one wordpress site to another. There is one button to get the csv file through the “event regstration csv report” button. But how can i export(who are all marked as complete, incomplete and abanded) aand import it to another site. Please provide the steps for this.

Hi there,

Either the Duplicator plugin or the WP Migrate DB plugins are recommended.
Duplicator copies everything, including files:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/
WP Migrate DB gets the data ready for migration and exports it, you’ll still need to import the data using phpmyadmin:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-migrate-db/
WP Migrate DB Pro makes things easier because it lets you do a one-click push or pull the data from one site to the other:

Dear team,

I’m facing the same challenge as wst, hence why I’m allowing myself to reply in this thread. What I take from wst’s post and what I would like too is to export and import the Event Espresso plugin with all its related data, not all of the WordPress site. I.e. there already is a new website up and running which should now include the Event Espresso setup from a previous website.

As far as I can see, the solutions mentioned all relate to moving the full WP installation rather than being focused on a sub system like Event Espresso.

Is my assumption correct and if so, would you be able to elaborate on how to specifically move the Event Espresso part?

Best,
Luc

There really isn’t a way to move the Event Espresso part only. This is because the events, venues, and contacts are stored in the posts table, which is also where regular WordPress posts and pages are stored.
