Hi – one minute the site was fine… after the last event espresso update, past events are showing up as “Page not found” even though the event is still there… http://ojcmasterclass.org/events/20151027-ari-freed-jody-raffoul/ – my settings are supposed to show expired as well as current events.

Hi Nancy,

Do you have any plugins that alter a posts status or possibly security plugins?

Can you flush your permalinks and test again please? Got to Dashboard -> Settings -> Permalinks, make no changes and just hit save.

Hi Tony – thanks for the suggestion. No plugins that alter post status or security – I did as you asked re permalinks – no change. Still reads page not found. http://ojcmasterclass.org/events/2015-oct-27-ari-freed-jody-raffoul

If you view the event whilst logged in, can you see it?

Also if you edit the event from within the admin, what is the events post status? – http://take.ms/q1gwd

Hi Tony – sorry this issue is yet to be resolved. I’ve been away and have just now had a chance to read your last response.

The original issue was posted as this:
Hi – one minute the site was fine… after the last event espresso update, past events are showing up as “Page not found” even though the event is still there… http://ojcmasterclass.org/events/20151027-ari-freed-jody-raffoul/ – my settings are supposed to show expired as well as current events.

You asked if I could see it if logged in – the answer is no. I can see the post in editing mode and it is marked as published. Can you please find out why this is not displaying past events. I’ve checked everything and it should be doing so. Note that there were some custom changes that Event Espresso made to my site – maybe that has effected this somehow? Might be much faster to resolve if you were able to log in?

Let me know.Thanks.
Nancy.

Hi Nancy,

I’ve merged your threads to keep the details together.

If you create a new active event does that work as expected?

No – just tested it. Same thing… I liked the idea of having control of events from my own site… But I’m going to have to switch to another event management solution if this isn’t solved soon.

In that case it isn’t an issue with expired events, but more likely that either a plugin or the theme is hooking into the events query and causing problems.

Have you installed new plugins or changed themes since the previous event worked?

If you can send me temporary login details using this form I’ll take a look:
