Hey Guys –
So currently the archive area for events pulls the information on dates, times and prices since that information is at the top of each event page – its confusing and looks messy. Instead on the archive page I would like to have a specific excerpt for each event with a textual description. I see an option in the event page itself that says excerpt but when I enter textual information in that area it doesnt override the dates, times and prices on the archive page (they are still showing). Any help on how I can control the content in this area?

Update – so I was able to get the text to show but it is below the date information and still looks like a jumbled mess.
Here is what appears under the featured image:
Monday Class 9:00amFebruary 1, 2016 – May 30, 20169:00 am – 10:30 amWednesday Class 9:00amFebruary 3, 2016 – May 25, 20169:00 am – 10:30 amFriday Class 9:00amFebruary 5, 2016 – May 27, 20169:00 am – 10:30 am Monday Class 9:00amFebruary 1, 2016 – May 30, 20169:00 am – 10:30 amWednesday Class 9:00amFebruary 3, 2016 – May 25, 20169:00 am – 10:30 amFriday Class 9:00amFebruary 5, 2016 – May 27, 20169:00 am – 10:30 am This is the textual description that I want to show.
I can hide the dates and times in CSS if I can isolate the element but it all shows in section entry.p so it would hide everything.
Ideas on how to remove the dates being pulled and only show the area which says “THis is the textual description I want to show”

Hi Matt,
This might be something your WP theme adds. Is the theme you’re using available to download somewhere so we can check?

You’re welcome, but my replay wasn’t really meant as direction. We can look into the issue if we can download a copy of the theme from somewhere.
