Events Grid View Template sorting

Is there a way for the grid view to sort the events by ( nearest location, Data, Categories)?

According to the documentation it says you can order by event id, start/end date, event name, city, state, venue name, sorted ascending or descending. There are also shortcode parameters to filter by month and category.

thanks it will help somehow, but I tried to use these shortcodes using do_shortcode and it is not working, while it working when adding it into the page content.

P.S. I tried to use a shortcode from another plugin instead and it works fine.

Hi there,

The event grid view template shortcodes are not intended to be used within a page template with do_shortcode(). If you plan on building a page template to display a grid it’s recommended to work off of the plugin’s templates instead.
