Here’s our scenario:

Classroom training will be delivered by regional training partners. While they don’t necessarily need to be able to set up their own events, they do need to be able to record onsite attendance and payment information. Some attendees will pay in cash at the door; payment will be collected by the training partners but needs to be recorded centrally. Following the training, learners will be sent a link to an online feedback form to capture feedback about the session.

Given that scenario, here are my questions:

Can partners be given access to events so they can record attendance (but only for their own events)?
Can onsite cash payments be tracked?
Is there a suggested approach to collecting post-event feedback? If there is a solution (especially one that’s automated) can it be associated with the specific event and partner? In an ideal situation, we would love anyone who completes the form registered as a new user on the site.

Thanks!

Hi Ryan,

Event Espresso 3 along with the Roles and Permissions Pro add-on will help with your requirements.

The Roles and Permissions Pro add-on will let you create regional managers which can create and edit their own events.

Cash payments can be noted for an attendee within Event Espresso 3:

Additionally, there is a batch email feature that can be used to send a message to all attendees/registrants. This could be used to send the feedback form:

Thanks Lorenzo, I really appreciate the feedback. I’d seen the add-on for EE3 but I wasn’t sure if partners were restricted to only updating their own events (what we want) and I didn’t know what was available for EE4 (I hoped for LearnDash integration). Regardless, I think what you mentioned should satisfy immediate project requirements.
