Hi there,
I created a Event List of all events on the demo page by using the shortcode [ESPRESSO_EVENTS_TABLE_TEMPLATE]
http://demoee.org/blog/events/heilpraktiker-psychotherapie-ausbildung/

There you can see all events on 16 pages. Great.

Now, set the “Category Filter” to eg “Aviation”. There a 7 events in this category BUT you stll can click on page 1 to page 16, although there is no page 2 or page 3 in this category.

Is this a bug?

Hi there,

It turns out the other events are still queried so the paging reflects the number of events queried. The category filter is an on-the-fly filter that hides the events that don’t match the selected category.

If you want to make it so only aviation events display on the table you can include the category as a parameter in the shortcode. Here’s an example:

[ESPRESSO_EVENTS_TABLE_TEMPLATE category_filter=false category_slug="aviation"]
