Event Times Not Set Correctly

Hello,

We have always setup WordPress with the timestamp of New York which sets our websites time to EST and we have never had any issues with any plugins. We’ve used Event Espresso for years and now when we set the date and time for an event it is 4 hours off.

So let’s say we set the date and time for 7-27-2016 @ 6:30pm to 7-27-2016 @ 8:00pm.
On the front end it would display 7-27-2016 @ 2:30pm to 7-27-2016 @ 4:00pm.

Something is not right with that. If I set the time then it should display the time I set. I shouldn’t have to “trick” it by setting my global wordpress time to UTC-4 just to offset the miscalculated time.

Can you please check into this and let me know what can be done to fix the issue?

Thank you,

Josh

Have you installed any new plugins recently? The reason I ask is because there are some WordPress plugins that reset the timezone, which will cause the exact problem you described.
